Sales Manager - Permanent Role

Global Lingo is looking to extend it's huge growth over the last year with the addition of a new business development role, focusing on taking Global Lingo's highly innovative services to either the corporate or public sector, depending on the candidate's past experience. Working from the head office in central London the role will, in due course, have responsibility for a team of sales executives, although the primary responsibility will be winning business, both on the phone, and through face to face meetings.

Who we're looking for

The candidate will be a financially motivated and highly driven graduate, with good experience in opening and building relationships in order to close business. We believe in investing in only the highest calibre professionals in order to deliver the best results . The successful candidate will be expected to exceed their KPI’s and revenue targets and demonstrate strong skills in all facets of sales including: closing skills, proactively generating sales opportunities, following up leads, relationship management and growing the revenue of the current customer base.

What's on offer

Salary: £22,000 plus highly attractive OTE.

Translators and Interpreters - Freelance Roles

Global Lingo requires good quality, reliable and professional translators and interpreters, in all language combinations and areas of speciality. Our clients are a mix of major blue-chip companies and governmental departments.

Translators must:

• Have at least 5 years’ experience
• Work exclusively into their mother tongue
• Hold an internationally recognised qualification from a body like the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) or the Institute of Linguists (IoL)
• Have a sufficient number of references

Freelance Writers

Global Lingo is currently seeking to expand its freelance writer base. Successful candidates will undergo significant training in all our products, from writing transcripts right through to our summary services.

Our only requirements are that you are a university graduate and possess exceptional written‑communication skills.  Because our transcripts and summaries are such specialised products, we will thoroughly train you and take a proactive approach to your development.  The nature of our freelance work means that it is ideal for a wide demographic, from those who prefer to work from home to new graduates looking to live and work in London.  Applicants from all over the world are welcome.
