Welcome to the first Global Lingo Blog

Written by on

Welcome to the all new Global Lingo blog posted from Mayfair, London on a weekly basis. We shall be discussing themes from the world of translation, interpretation, minute taking and transcription, our 4 core services.

At this early stage I would like to mention that I am not a professional writer or translator, merely a director of the business, so please don’t think my bad grammar and punctuation is a reflection of the services we offer.Luckily I don’t write or translate for our clients – if i did we would have gone out of business years ago!

For those of you who don’t know our business; we are a London based communications business providing the above services, to both private sector clients such as BP and Honda, and to public sector bodies such as 10 Downing Street, the Department for International Development and the House of Lords. We have been going for over three years now and are growing very rapidly. Oddly enough the downturn seems to be a lucrative time for us, with our turnover and staff numbers growing exponentially over the last year.

Enough of that stuff. I want to use this medium over the coming years to discuss different areas of philology, linguistics, geography and anything to do with the written word. More to come soon so watch this space…..

How can we help you?
