Blenheim Palace – Translation Case Study

Written by on

Blenheim Palace, the World Heritage Site and Visitor Attraction in Oxfordshire, promotes itself to an international market. As part of this activity the Palace attends annual sales missions at various international destinations with Visit Britain, including Destination China, promoting to Chinese and Japanese tourists.

At Destination China 2012 Blenheim Palace met with delegates and agents from the Far East who plan to send visitors to the UK, and would include Blenheim Palace on their itinerary as a must-see destination.

The marketing team at Blenheim Palace needed to ensure that they could provide tour operators and agents with high quality branded marketing material about Blenheim Palace that they could retain for their files, and that they could easily distribute.

The translation solution

Global Lingo has vast experience in translation of marketing materials from English into Simplified Chinese and Japanese. Not only did we provide the translations, but we also offered the best way of distribution: personalised USB sticks. The completed Chinese and Japanese translations were pre-loaded on to the Blenheim Palace USB sticks and delivered, in labelled batches, prior to the required deadline.

We found Global Lingo extremely professional and efficient in their approach to this language project. We had an extremely tight deadline, limited budget, and required high quality material befitting our brand as “Britain’s Greatest Palace”. I would certainly recommend Global Lingo for translation projects, it was a pleasure to work with a team who go the extra mile to meet customer satisfaction.
