Richard first started work as a print designer, but had quickly to adapt with the arrival of the internet! As paper became increasingly scarce in the business world, he turned his talents and attention to marketing, beginning in the Travel and Tourism sector and moving through Mail Order and Retail.
Before joining Global Lingo, Richard spent several years working at a major translation firm and therefore possesses a great deal of experience in the field.
He also has an in-depth knowledge of social network marketing, copywriting, web marketing, email, direct mail, branding, presentations and search engine optimisation.
In previous roles he has generated large increases in web traffic for companies and has come up with innovative translation products, as well as handling global Public Relations campaigns. He has given several workshops and presentations on Search Engine Optimisation and International Trade for the UKTI.
