Hannah studied French and Linguistics at Oxford, and worked as a writer at Global Lingo for 18 months before becoming Head of Transcription in 2010. With her excellent communication skills and her experience in the industry, Hannah can be relied on to manage the full-time and freelance transcribers producing documents for the company’s many clients.
Her position at Global Lingo allows Hannah to keep up with events and news from all around the world. She is particularly interested in how cultures and societies develop, and she loves to travel (finances permitting!); the highlights of her adventures to date include working in Togo for a Women in Development NGO and backpacking around West Africa on her own. Currently, alongside her work, she is studying for an MA in the Anthropology of Food at SOAS in London and participating in community food projects.
In her spare time, Hannah loves reading, studying languages, listening to music, practising yoga, walking, and working with food – whether growing it, cooking it or thinking about its politics.
